We definitely recommend you to rent a car during your vacation on Curaçao. While the island isn't very large, having a car is still essential. There are few dedicated bike lanes or sidewalks, and for most people, walking long distances in the heat isn’t ideal.
Exploring the beautiful beaches at Westpunt and the vibrant center of Willemstad is definitely worth it — and much easier with your own car!
